Morgan Academy’s new, comprehensive website is coming soon.

There’s a lot we want to share about Morgan Academy’s curriculum, highly trained faculty, and innovative educational programming—in Preschool, K – 8, and in our new, university-based High School. Here’s a sneak-peek of our upcoming, revised website that will explain to new friends and old what’s distinctive about Morgan Academy and our dedicated community.

is happening throughout the year! In December, we embrace the wonder of the season, legends of Santa Claus, and how others around the world celebrate similar figures—like La Befana, a gift-giving matron of Italy. Did you know, in Iceland, Yule Lads and their Yule cat descend from the mountains and prank children?!

Using a variety of maps and globes, we’ll explore world geography. Engaging creative writing and artistic skills, children also will craft their own “Santa” legend and illustrate the myth. Ages 3 – 5.

Classes are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m at the Preschool. Enrollment is month-to-month and the cost is $175 per child per month, prorated for December’s holiday at $135 per child. Details here.

On Wednesday, December 11, the High School will travel to Washington, D.C., to complement our nutritional science and biology curricula. Our day delves into food as part of chemical and cultural processes impacting humans in the most profound and basic ways. We’ll visit the National Museum of American History, specifically the exhibit Food: Transforming the American Table 1950-2000, dine at the Eastern Market, and meet the fish monger!

High School students and faculty will depart for D.C. from the main Schoolhouse at 8:00 a.m. and return by 6:00 p.m on December 11.  The cost for transportation is $15.00.  Students also need money for lunch.

In an inclusive community, Morgan Academy empowers lifelong, ethical learners who do good work in both senses: work that is high quality and work that advances a more humane, sustainable world.  Come join us!
