Financial Aid via the West Virginia HOPE Scholarship
Morgan Academy is a proud participant of the West Virginia HOPE scholarship, which provides financial assistance to families who value school choice.
Eligible West Virginia families can apply for the Hope Scholarship at any time throughout the year. However, some deadlines correspond with percentages of the scholarship for which your student(s) may qualify. For example, to receive 100% of the scholarship funding for the next school year, the application must be submitted by June 15 of that year. Families must initiate and complete this process on their own. Morgan Academy is not responsible other than to maintain our eligibility as a provider and report students who have received the scholarship.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Hope Scholarship Program, a student must be a West Virginia resident and be one of the following:
- Eligible for or required to be enrolled in kindergarten.
- Enrolled full-time in public elementary or secondary school in West Virginia for at least 45 calendar days during the current instructional term, AND at the time of application.
All families, whether applying for the Hope Scholarship for the first time or renewing that scholarship annually, should visit the Hope Scholarship FAQ page for details and policies.
